Agile Talks

Bogdan Muresan, Senior Director of Engineering

Passionate about technology, I slowly moved from finding challenges through code writing to building teams and solve challanges together. On top of that comes a fast growing passion for sharing my knowledge and experience through articles and public speaking. Becoming a professional trainer it was a natural step which I am enjoying a lot.

Presentation Title: Teams, Clients and Two Smoking Cultures

In Agile environments the relationship between the teams and the clients can be easily the subject for an intense tragical comical (yes, it’s possible) best selling Emmy award soap opera. Most of the time we are focused to identify the good and the bad through the eyes of Agile mindset and knowledge of the parts involved. What if we go a step further and we actually ask ourselves about the culture of the two?

Ruxandra Banici, Project Manager

Going from Developer to Team leader to Delivery Director to Project Manager
and still trying out new roles

Presentation Title: Overtime might not be the black sheep

I want to give you a different view of overtime and shift it from the desperate measure to get things done until the deadline to a way of boosting performance and creativity.

My idea is not proven by any British scientists and it is something I observed with my colleagues, so it might be totally correct or horribly wrong.

Presentation Title: OKRs

We will be talking about the benefits of using Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) framework and how this can be used to align and cascade objectives across different departments, teams and individuals. Tips and best practices on how to write OKRs will also be provided. 🙂
