What is product ownership? Why should project managers care? We are living in an ever-changing world. Product and even companies are failing at an alarming rate. Yes, this is due in part due to COVID-19, but there are many other reasons as well. To be successful organizations need to implement their strategy with more urgency than ever before. To implement a strategy, organizations are starting to recognize the importance of products and services, in the delivery of value to customers, and implementing strategy in organizations. Project managers not only need to understand the role of their project to support the strategy of organizations but how the product they are building will support that strategy and realize the value to customers.

This event, using examples, will look at the inter-dependency between products projects, programs, and projects. The event will highlight the need for project managers to understand the relationship between projects and products to support organizations in implementing strategy and to deliver successful projects and products.
